Rabbi Jacoby
{Director - Ohr Campus}
Rabbi Jonathan Jaffit was raised in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. He moved to Toronto in 2002 to pursue an undergraduate degree in Life Sciences at the University of Toronto and subsequently completed a Master's degree in History at York. During his university tenure, Rabbi Jaffit was actively involved in Jewish campus life, serving on the boards of Alpha Epsilon Pi, Hillel and the Zionist Students' Association.
Rabbi Jaffit, together with his wife and sons, lived in Israel from 2009-2014, where he pursued advanced rabbinical studies in Jerusalem. There he also taught in a number of Jewish educational institutions.
When he's not busy engaging Jewish students, Captain Jaffit can often be found serving in the Canadian Armed Forces as the chaplain for the Toronto Scottish Regiment.
